Troop 1 tries to spend two nights a month under the stars, in a tent, hammock, quinzhee, or cabin.
We have camped at Northern Star Council camps, at Minnesota and Wisconsin state parks, and National Forest Service primitive camps.
We're always looking for great places to camp and explore!
August 03-09, 2025 • Summer Camp at Tomahawk Scout Camp
The highlight of any Scout's summer! We will go to Tomahawk in August this year, so that scouts going to Philmont don't miss out.
Open to Troop 1 scouts of all ages.
Join us for a full week of fun at Tomahawk! We will camp as a Troop in Quapaw, Sioux Camp, as usual. New scouts will work on skills that will help with advancement through First Class rank, and all scouts can work on merit badges. We'll also do lots of fun activities together as a Troop.
