Troop 1 tries to spend two nights a month under the stars, in a tent, hammock, quinzhee, or cabin.
We have camped at Northern Star Council camps, at Minnesota and Wisconsin state parks, and National Forest Service primitive camps.
We're always looking for great places to camp and explore!
November 7-8, 2025 • Base Camp Lock-in
• COST • $36 Northern Star Council camp participation fee
• MENU • Base camp will provide pizza and lemonade, we can bring other snacks.
• PROGRAM • Join us for a night of fun in our own back yard with an overnight at Base Camp!
There will be an open program where you can do archery, rock climbing, games like gaga ball, and (for those 12 or older) an indoor high ropes course. We'll have pizza and lemonade, and then settle down to a movie before going to bed - or staying up late!
• This is now a "bring-a-friend" event! If you're going and have a friend who is eligible to join the troop and would like to see what Troop 1 is like, they can register for the event and join us.
